Welcome to A Whisk of Grace! By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms and conditions below. We are a home-based cottage food business operating in North Carolina under the North Carolina Cottage Food Law.

1. Cottage Food Disclosure

All products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department. Products are not for resale.

2. Orders and Payment

• Orders are accepted through our website and paid securely through Square.

• Orders are confirmed once full payment is received.

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an order in cases of ingredient shortages, scheduling conflicts, or other unforeseen circumstances.

3. Pick-Up

• We offer local pick-up as permitted under North Carolina law.

• We do not ship products by mail or courier.

• Customers are responsible for collecting orders at the agreed time and place. Orders not picked up as scheduled may not be eligible for a refund or remake.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Because all items are made to order and perishable, all sales are final.
If there is an issue with your order (such as an error or damage), please contact us within 2 days of pickup. We will review your concern and, if appropriate, offer a partial refund or replacement at our discretion.

5. Allergens and Food Safety

All our products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by a health department. Our kitchen uses or may handle ingredients that contain or have been exposed to the following common allergens:

• Wheat / Gluten

• Eggs

• Milk / Dairy

• Peanuts

• Tree Nuts (such as almonds, pecans, or walnuts)

• Soy

• Sesame

Cross-contact between allergens can occur, even if a specific product does not list those ingredients. We do not have dedicated allergen-free preparation areas, utensils, or equipment.

If you or anyone who will consume our products has a food allergy or sensitivity, please notify us before ordering. We will gladly provide ingredient details to the best of our ability. However, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of allergens or cross-contact risk.

All items should be stored and consumed according to our handling recommendations. Improper storage or transport after pickup may increase food safety risks.

6. Liability

By purchasing from A Whisk of Grace, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our allergen and food safety information and understand that products are made in a home kitchen where allergens are present. A Whisk of Grace is not responsible for allergic reactions, food sensitivities, or any issues resulting from improper handling after pickup.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the order in question.

7. Product Quality and Appearance

As a small-batch bakery, every product is handcrafted and may vary slightly in colour, shape, or decoration from photos shown online. These variations are part of the artisan nature of our products and are not considered defects.

8. Intellectual Property

All text, designs, images, and recipes displayed on our website and marketing materials are the property of A Whisk of Grace and may not be reproduced without permission.
